About Us

Susan Webber is the CEO and founder of High Impact HR.  Susan brings a bottom-line oriented approach to human resources based upon her executive level experience in leading HR organizations.  She has a record of transforming HR into an effective, business impacting strategic advantage with measurable results.  Her unique HR Maturity Assessment Model™ provides companies with the insight they need to establish their vision for HR’s optimal roles and responsibilities, and then develop the supporting priorities, plans and measures.  High Impact HR also provides general HR consulting services, as well as HR projects and outsourcing. 

 

Previously, Susan was Vice President of Human Resources for Concur Technologies, named recently as one of the 500 fastest growing companies in America.  Susan led the global HR function for approximately five years, a period in which Concur’s market cap increased by a factor of seven to over a billion dollars.  In addition to creating the high-performance culture recognized as a key component of Concur’s success, she also provided executive coaching, leadership development and strategic HR planning and implementation.  Her prior experience includes VP of HR at VoteHere, and Data I/O Corporation, as well as director level positions at a division of AT&T, as well as executive coaching and consulting for Bechtel Corporation.

 

Ms. Webber received a Ph.D. in Organizational Development and an MS in Psychology with a minor in statistics from the University of Oklahoma, and a BS in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude, from Northern Arizona University.  She also has her Senior Professional Human Resources Certificate.
